Mr. Bluegrass Hits Broad Street
After taking a break from Bluegrass On Broad last week so that we could bring you The VW Boys from The Bellamy Hardware, we’re back on Broad and raring to go! On this edition of LocalGrass Radio we’re bringing you “Mr. Bluegrass” himself. Kody Norris and his fine band The Watauga Mountain Boys. Kody and the guys hit the stage running at 7 pm sharp. Looking sharp and sounding great. We’re thinking he’s channeling Jimmy Martin! You don’t see many young folks these days with the love for traditional “old school” bluegrass music that Mr. Norris has. We’re not saying they’re not out there, we’re just saying it’s not something you see everyday. It’s as scarce as hen’s teeth.
You’d have to look far & wide to find a better stage show. Especially when you consider the cost of admission to a Bluegrass On Broad concert is absolutely FREE! You can’t beat a bargain like that! Great times, great music and on the corner you’ll find TK’s Big Dogs, so there’s plenty of great food! Visit Kody Norris on the web at www.kodynorris.net. His site is still under construction, but go there and bookmark it so you can check back often! Be sure to also visit the Facebook page for Bluegrass On Broad! Be sure and hit the like button and leave a comment. Maybe something like “Linda & Kenneth sent me” or something snappy like that.
